ClassicShell: style XP to Windows 7

Familiar with the interactive interface of Windows XP, and the decision to upgrade to Windows 7, you still want little presence of the old Windows XP? So let's test free utility as ClassicShell - bring the original Start Menu and Windows Explorer features classic ball over seven 7 for Windows XP.
During the installation process, you review and select components to install. May be the Classic Start Menu, Classic Explorer or both.

Classic Start Menu

Does not require rebooting after the installation was successful, click on the Start menu and interface style classic will appear replace the default Windows Start 7.

To change some settings in accordance with individuals, you right-click on Start and select Settings.

Settings window appears, please check settings area to change to Classic Start Menu and click OK.

Classic Explorer

This is a fun option for those who want to interact with features similar button on the Windows XP 7. Here, you can do some tasks (quite simple) in the case do not see them right after the installation utility successfully.

In Windows Explorer, click-free combination "Alt + T" and select Folder Options



From the Folder Options window, select the View tab, area Always show menus check box and then click Apply and OK.

Next right click on the Menu Bar and select Classic Explorer Bar. Soon after you will see Classic Bar located at right corner in Explorer.

If you want to change the location of the Classic Bar to the left to interactive media, right-click on the Menu Bar and uncheck Lock the toolbars first.

To change the settings for the Classic Bar, you click on the icon Classic Explorer Settings as you see in the picture below. There are some settings such as using large icon buttons, trigger style Classic Tree ...


One other neat changes ClassicShell bring more when you conduct shutdown or restart your computer, you will be interacting with classical shutdown screens similar to XP.
